Yoga Fusion- This practice has been one of Elevation’s most popular! A signature class that is a blend of Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Pilates : traditions to create a beautiful combination of strength, healing, and transformation. As always, modifications are given as well as challenges. All levels welcome.
Yin Yoga- A quiet, meditative practice. Through mindful muscle relaxation, yin yoga promotes the healthy flow of chi (energy) in the body through the connective tissue. Postures held for longer periods give practitioners the opportunity to observe and bring awareness to the breath and sensations in the body. The Yin practice is a wonderful compliment to a more vigorous yoga practice, running cycling, or other more active pursuits. 75 minutes. All levels welcome
Restorative Yoga- This class is a gentle approach that can be used to create space in areas that are compressed, relieve tight muscles, build stronger bones and help induce the relaxation response when restorative postures are incorporated. Gentle resistance poses will gently and safely lengthen muscles while creating mild compression on bones. Classes are designed to move slowly so you can feel what’s happening on the inside. There is a strong focus on breath to sooth the mind and many aspects of the sequences are done dynamically in an effort to bring more blood flow to the muscles. The intention is to create healthy movement patterns so circulation can flow and improve joint mobility.
Vinyasa Yoga- Through this energetic vinyasa practice, you’ll cultivate strength, flexibility, endurance and greater body awareness. Classes include traditional and creative sequences of postures rooted in the breath that will invigorate and challenge you. Instructors offer modifications and variations throughout the class, making these classes accessible for students of all levels.
BootyBarre- BootyBarre is a fun, energetic workout that fuses techniques from dance , Pilates, and yoga for a low impact workout that helps define and tone your whole body. No experience needed, all levels welcome!
Tabata- This 45 minute class will leave you invigorated! Tababta is a high intensity interval training broken down into 8 four-minute-segments. The class will contain a warm up before and cool down stretch after. Wear sneakers. All levels welcome!!
Align & Flow- Align and Flow combines rigorous vinyasa with careful attention to intention and alignment.
This all level class is suitable the beginner or experienced practitioner and particularly for people who have a desire to learn about themselves and their bodies.
Vin/Yin Yoga- A 75 minute combination of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Experience strengthening and lengthening the muscles and fascia of the body for a complete experience. Throughout the use of breath and mindfulness, we will experience a meditative state being able to cultivate more awareness in everything we do. Yoga helps off the mat, in life, as much as it does when you are on the mat! All levels welcome.
Roll & Flow- Want some massage with your yoga practice? This class combines a slow flow vinyasa class with self massage (ball rolling). Ball rolling uses small yoga therapy balls to free up fascia, keep your spine aligned and your muscles relaxed and happy. All levels are welcome.
Hatha Yoga- Grounding down and rooting up, we gather light, love and energy to guide our bodies through rhythms of strengthening pranayama breath work and longer held postures. Our practice will balance movement and stillness through deep Hatha poses to encourage a full exploration of the body in each movement. Every class will end with a closing ritual of Yoga Nidra, painting a soft meditation of imagery that will end in Savasana.
Candlelight (slow) flow- Unwind from the day with this slow meditative flow. It is a grounding practice designed to reconnect you with your breath and body to release tension from the body and mind.
Roll and Restore- Come restore balance and alignment to your musculoskeletal with this self myofascial release class. You will be guided in ways to release the soft tissue structures of your body by using a variety of methods including foam rolling, yoga therapy balls, and p-knotting.
Prana Vinyasa Flow- A fluid and rhythmic style of vinyasa practice that connects movement and awareness to breath in a dynamic sequence. Practitioners will learn classical and innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and cultivate an energetic connection of body and mind.
Kids Yoga- Kids will learn basic yoga poses while maintain aiming a playful, fun class experience through games, props and music. Classes focus on building self-confidence, strength and concentration. Children are encouraged to express themselves while learning the basic yoga principles of respect to self and others.
Gentle Barre- A 30 minute class focusing on balance, strength, and lengthening, using ballet barres for support. This class is no impact, and helpful in combatting osteoporosis and arthritis. Attendees should be able to comfortably stand for half an hour to participate.
Candlelight Restorative Flow- This class offers a meditative transition into the evening and week ahead through a gentle, grounding flow. Sequences are designed to release muscle tension and create space for self-care. This class will include an extended savasana or mediation at the end.
